NODE 01 - ENTRY POINT
Route planning for logistics operations, mapped as a working diagram
Bass Nutmeg sets up route planning, delivery-window estimation and fleet review work for operators in Japan. Each service starts from the constraints an operation already has, not from an assumption that more automation is automatically better. It is advisory work: we do not carry goods.

Plans that hold up once a dispatcher looks at them
A route sequence generated without local knowledge of a street network tends to look correct on a screen and come apart on the road. The work here is configuring a planning step that a dispatcher can adjust, rather than one that expects to be followed without question.
It matters most where access is genuinely limited, where a customer has agreed to a specific delivery window, or where a driver's remaining hours change what a plan can ask of them.
CONSTRAINT NODE
What a plan has to respect before efficiency is discussed
01
Driver hours
Remaining working time available to each driver on a given day.
02
Vehicle capacity
Load limits by weight or volume for each vehicle in the fleet.
03
Delivery windows
Time ranges already agreed with customers, not set after the fact.
04
Access restrictions
Narrow-street and residential access limits common in older districts.
NODE 03 - HOW IT WORKS
A short, structured process
STEP 1
Review of existing order data, journey records and the planning routine you use today.
STEP 2
Configuration of the planning or estimation step against the constraints you state.
STEP 3
Training for dispatchers on adjusting and overriding computed plans.
STEP 4
A review after the first month of use, looking at what did and did not change.
COMPARISON NODE
Manual planning beside a configured alternative
The same set of stops can be visited in many orders. A hand-built order carries the dispatcher's knowledge of particular streets and customers; a configured order carries the constraints consistently, shift after shift.
A review puts the two next to each other on your own routes. How far apart they turn out to be depends on the delivery area and the fleet, and we do not quote a typical figure.

An advisory service, not a carrier
Bass Nutmeg advises on how deliveries are planned. It does not transport goods, operate vehicles or employ drivers, and it holds no freight transport business licence. A carrier's own legal duties, such as hours rules for drivers and load limits, stay with the carrier; a computed plan is a starting point that the dispatcher checks against them.

Questions before starting
Describe your fleet and how you plan today. Sending a message commits you to nothing. For anything time-sensitive, e-mail or phone is the more direct route.
